Such a good book! I went into it with low expectations because a friend said she didn't like it, but the more I read, the more I couldn't stop reading!
Many parts were overwhelming and heartbreaking as antebellum slavery in the south is, but other parts were intriguing as the lives of the characters intertwined back and forth 1852 to present.
