If his mom is alive then why the fuck did he phrase it like that? Any idiot would know that was misleading and sounds like she died. So not an inconsistency , just an idiot male lead.

If his parents are both dead and he didn’t meet her until after, Why would he how to begging her to meet his MOM and the pack? He wouldn’t even know what size clothes to but until after he met her. That’s an inconsistent detail. Did the author forget the mom was dead for half a paragraph?
