The shoutouts to obscure authors that are probably friends is getting to be weird. There doesn’t seem to be a point other than to promote. It’s like being slapped with an ad when I’m trying to enjoy a story.

But if I’m going to die, sacrificing myself for someone I love seems like a good way to go.
