This book is totally trippy - I wondered if it would be too "dark" for me, or give me nightmares, but so far it's not. I am reminded of Hunger Games or The Giver in some ways by the ideas in this book, but Shusterman has such an interesting twist on the main idea and how people have to be killed to maintain human existence. Can't wait to dig in more.
