Wow. lol. That was unexpected and crazy. I can see how the author's would be upset but to state it like that? I don't think that was tactful.
Hmm! okaaay... bold but a tad bitchy, no? I get where she is coming from though, authors need to make their money, it takes more than we know to write and publish a book...

I'm stunned! I "borrow" and lend books all of the time via amazon and their one time lend rule. Am I supposed to feel bad about that? I get where she's coming from with the pirated stuff but she needs to chill out, take a step back and tone down the bitch a little.

I was having a similar talk earlier with my best friend... She and I are indeed "sharing" our reads. I read whatever she buys and vice versa.I mean when i buy a paperback i have NO concerns at all to lend her the book. I extended this rule to my ebooks as well. Its not as if i was sharing my books with all the world, right?
At us both we bought over 1000 ebooks/ year.
I get that writing is a hard work and i understand copyright issues, but i find the message a bit harsh. Strike that, i find it to be very rude. :/
Yes , it can get very expensive and is nice to share books with friends..
This makes me wanna Pirate this book and then NOT write a review!
