Not bad, but I feel like a lot of the magic of “Dear Evan Hansen” has to do with all of the theatrics. The music, the actors, etc. With all of that missing, Dear Evan Hansen is a relatively straightforward story and while that isn’t bad, it can get kind of stale at times. Although, it is a very heartwarming and heartwrentching story so far and it can be quite funny at times as well.
