Really enjoying the vivid and detailed descriptions Rees uses for the locations this section is focusing on. I almost feel as if I am in the plantations of Jamaica myself! I think one set of character relationships in particular feels a bit rushed, but perhaps Rees is quickly trying to set things up to give room for the next adventure.
