In the beginning, I did not like this hero. I thought he was gonna be a typical Palmer brute. The heroine was pathetic with no backbone. Archaic time period with virgin heroine. Palmer is a very dated author. It got better and the scene I just finished was the best so far. They’ve had some cute lines. Dc for the side plot going on w/ her sister at all.

The hero ended up better than he was in the beginning. The heroine didn’t have enough backbone or spunk. The love scene wasn’t descriptive, this books biggest failing. The side plot involving her sister was rushed & the ending could have been a lot better. Their HEA was so sudden; they didn’t even date, just BOOM, marriage. This had a couple good scenes & some cute moments but needed more of them, as well as humor.
