Picked this up because it was an award winner for goodreads scifi category.

It is not good.

Characters are clunky, are "flooded" with feeling with out reason, are flippant about trauma. Characters blame themselves for everything despite having no control. Writing feels juvenile.

I continue to read this because my daughter seems into it, so maybe it's more young adult.
