My big re-read this year is Boiardo, but I wish I had more choice of translations.
Nice I like Boiaro but yeah there aren't many translations. I have the one, I think it's Charles Stanley Ross, that has some prose abridgements. As for Rabelais, it just got a bit tedious after a while. I don't mind the humour but there's only so much (actual) crap you can take. Though I did like noticing there's a genealogy of giants where a bunch of them come from the chansons de geste.
