The book is loaded with positive and negative people interactions with customers. It was originally written in the late 90s. It’s been revised 3 times, most recently 2012. Many of the examples are outdated. It doesn’t take into account how much business is processed online and the role artificial intelligence plays now. The overall message makes you think about internal processes and customer interaction.
