Poverty was something he knew about, but only theoretically. Walking through the Boulevard gave him the opportunity to stare it in the face. Theory suddenly became humanized, and his heart sank. Not only did poverty have a face, but injustice also did. The Chancellor, the Governor, and all their cronies were injustice, and as long as they held their positions of power, that injustice would reign.

Change is coming. But it’s going to take some time. Those people out there are not all bad. They’ve been taught these lies for decades. That cruel leader is powerful, he's also powerful in his rhetoric. The people have been taken in by it, which isn’t hard since some benefit from the system that is in place. But they can learn. we need to at least give them a chance before we we bring down justice and wrath upon them
