Ugh. There is not anecdote. Just gratuitous use of Latin. Blegh.

Yay! The unbelievable anecdotes are back! I was getting real tired of the preaching telling me I'm a corpse or some shit.

I would think a guy who was a priest would know that it's not against the rules to read the Bible when you're Catholic. Like, that's never been a thing.

"Now, please tell me if the world has ever witnessed any degradation like that of Roman Catholics?"

Careful, pride is a deadly sin. You should know that.

Did I mention that this book was written in 1885? Did I also mention this was recommended by someone who thinks this is true? Why Jesuits no rule world? Hmmm?????

Okay, Chapter 9 has dipped from funny to flat out insulting. After chapters and chapters of random detailed anecdotes, we get his time at seminary glossed over, casting suspicion as to whether the author went at all. Surely this melodramatic individual would have over the top events to show how useless a seminary education is. But instead, we get rants about how stupid all Catholics are. Disappointing.
