Let me start by saying that you can easily move over all your Goodreads data (shelves, reviews, read dates...). It only takes a few clicks to transfer everything. So no need to worry about losing all the things you've tracked here over the years.

I've liked using Goodreads, but it's barely improved since I started using it in 2012. The design is outdated and the pages feel cluttered with unnecessary information.

It's nice to finally have an alternative out there that looks and works great, is exciting to use and that focuses around your wants and needs as a reader.

The founders are also super involved with the community. They take suggestions, ask for input and are actively working on making the site even better for the users.

This has gotten long, but if you're still reading: I highly recommend checking it out! It's super easy to set up and if you don't like it you can still easily delete your account (but I don't see why you'd want to do that 😉).
