out of curiosity is this the first appearance of even an abridged version of Galactus’ origin?

(1) dolphins: we’re flattered!
(2) another case of how somehow it never strikes readers as weird that (in-universe) we (human) Earthlings are somehow always the best at something desirable. The authors could settle for second best. Or above average.
