I love the cover heroine's fringed dear skin jacket that looks totally 80's. And the hero's big knife...

Ridley I'm turned on.

MelissaB The next page:

"she felt the tip of his enormous, stiff shaft brush her quivering flesh."

message 3: by Ridley (new)

Ridley Quivering flesh always puts me in mind of a B movie like Evil Dead.

Bruce Campbell's awesome and all, but Evil Dead =! sexy times.

MelissaB I was impressed with man-spear

message 5: by Jacqueline J (new)

Jacqueline J At least he has a man spear. So many poor heros in those days had to make do with rigid thighs.

message 6: by Shawna (new)

Shawna LOL, Man-spear makes me tremble!

MelissaB Zosia,

No, I am not joking but other than a few phrases, this book isn't too crazy.

Now if you want to read the craziest purple prose ever, read Destiny's Splendor by Kathleen Drymon. The purpleness is over the top and throughout the book.

message 8: by Lynsey A (new)

Lynsey A "Man-spear?" makes me think of a pickle. You know? Pickle spears? LOL
