Halfway through!

So far everyone is still interesting except for prudence and phaedron. (which should surprise no one since pirate storylines are supremely boring to me, and out of all the characters these two are supremely uninteresting with their clichéd instalove storyline.)

SUCH a slow beginning with so much info dumping and name dropping, but it's picking up. None of the characters - there are so so many but at least POV changes are fluid - are irritating yet.
