Found the book in my stash after months... restarting it 12/13/2020

Returned Rob's copy via Sandy. My own copy waits on me to attend to it. Have to be in the mood and will probably reread it.

reading slowly but find it interesting. The party of Lincoln was progressive. Lincoln proposed the Spot Resolution, against Polk starting the Mexican-American War. Lincoln wanted federal funding of roads and waterways instead of leaving this up to each state. He believed that all men are created equal. Our two party system twists and turns with time.
