I have an issue with this novel so my rating cannot be satisfying.
The problem is that it reminds me too much of “We need to talk about Kevin”, but with some crucial differences.
Lionel Shriver’s story is a punch in the gut. Beautifully written, compelling but brutal (and I loved every single page of it).
The Push is boring, predictable, sometimes confusing and definitely too long.
