Ever since that Pedro el Cruel book & watching the miniseries about his life, I've been in a medieval Spain frame of mind. Thank the reading gods I found this book! There are so few English-written books about Spanish characters in Spanish settings, so I am psyched for this one. It's starting out great: 7 Castilian brothers & their family await the wedding of their uncle to a spoiled, beautiful noblewoman.
