Slowly getting there. I'm still confused to how the story is going to end. I can't seem to guess!

Slowly getting there. It is a rather long story. I have now learnt what all the fuss is about with Olive. Makes sense but also I thought it might of been a little more dramatic, but then again I am used to extreme twists with other books.

This book! What can I say, it's unpredictable! You just don't know what's going to happen around the corner. Plenty of surprises along the way so far. The more of the book I am reading, the more I am being sucked in. Very good!

Oh no! I see where the book is taking me! I knew it would happen but please...don't go! You can't! What is she to do now!?

Awwww! You can feel the chemistry between the two characters. It's so sad and fustrating with how things are panning out. It's now got me a little hooked. I know it's based around the First World War and I am hoping it's a nice ending. I'm still confused about Olive and the background. Needs to reveal soon!

I'm currently on page 98. I must say, it is strange to read a book based in year 1914 around my home town (Birmingham). At first I found it a little frustrating with the style of the dialogue used in the book. Murray obviously wants the reader to read the text in the Black Country accent, but I found it annoyed me a little. But as I read on, I began to get used to it. Now it's starting to get interesting. =)
