I LOVEEEEE that dynamic so much between Sol and the Bane. I can't even put in into words!! It's the only parts that I liked of Sophia-Dalair (this lifetime, since she farted aggressively at him) but 100000x better, mixed with Tal-Kitten Ishtar + her involuntary shift and their chaste first kiss and all their playtime, mixed with Inanna chasing after Alad.

And I still think about the book and I am so obsessed and I didn't think any book could measure up. It started my obsession with Greek mythology and now I'm always looking for books that would make me feel the same way.
I'm sure you guys would have read the book too and loved it. Sometimes I read my highlights and review of the book just to relive the rush of feeling.
I can't believe my streak that 2 out of 2 MMs I've read just completely blew my mind.
