Really got hooked and drawn into the plot. the Cull sounds horrific and just "witnessed" on in the book. there's already a kind of group of people leading a quiet rebellion, Todd, Seth, Michelle, And Brian. Also liking the newer smaller kid Nick.

Interesting genetics within the book as in Norms "breed" the old fashioned way with one life time partner and the Enhanced swap around as the "loyalty gene" has been bred out of them. Its also interesting that the childrens dna do not come from just two sources (their parents) it comes from many "donors"
