I love how Beowulf's bravery spreads hope to the world around him. He brings joy everywhere he goes. The way Michael Morpurgo translates the ferocious Grendel and how his arm tendons shred muscle by muscle is very descriptive and goes to show how detailed the story of Beowulf really is.
