Finished an ready to finish the series. Really sad about the losses in this adventure. Ben made a new friend and lost two. I'm glad Gene is good and might prove a hero in the last book. Still upset that the last book is only available as an ebook.

Darkest book of the series so far. I like that the story is finally becoming unpredictable. The plot is getting thicker and the amount of wishing I'm doing for the hero is growing.

I forgot how much I like the footnotes in this series. They're ridiculous but the truth behind them are funny.
