I don't really get her objection. He's just told her a demon is coming to try and destroy her "kind" and that same demon keeps doing unspeakable violence to witches every seventy five years and together they could put a stop to it and she is like "Oh, I could never bond to you in anyway, not even to say myself, my family or my coven". I just don't get it.
