Nesta has been the POV twice (each chapter bounces bw Cassian and Nesta), but she's been slutshamed, controlled by Rhysand, threatened, violated, ridiculed, belittled...I'm running out of words. acosf has made that possible.

Will no one in the book treat Nesta with the respect she deserves? I already hated most of the Inner Circle but that's even worse than my low expectations.

Apparently even Mor gets in on the vitriol (which Feyre claims Nesta spews at her when Nesta holds Feyre accountable for her actions in the previous books).

Ugh, the update about (view spoiler)[ Feyre and co. having Nesta quit drinking cold turkey (hide spoiler)] pissed me off so much, both as an amateur writer and as someone who--while I haven't dealt with an addiction--has had to wean off of medications that didn't work and KNOWS that quitting anything cold turkey only makes it worse.
You'd think that an author would put at least some research into writing a character with an addiction, but I guess not. Misrepresentation of mental health stuff is one of my biggest dislikes in books.

Yeah, I was once on this one medication that you're supposed to wean yourself off of but neither my doctor nor my pharmacist told me so I finished the dosage and it was essentially cold turkey and it felt like I'd been run over again and again while sick with the flu. I live with a recovering alcoholic and it was incredibly difficult to get off alcohol. Maas always writes this shit but she never handles it with the care it requires.

Especially since she's being sent off to train. I can't imagine withdrawal doing anything to help with an already super intense training regime. It seems like some sort of cruel and unusual punishment to force an alcoholic to quit cold-turkey and then throw them into that.
