That’s really disappointing for you! Some books I have read or tried to could have used such “editing”, but every word of L’Engle’s is a treasure. I gave my copy to my church library, but if you don’t find another source, I will check it out for you and send it.📚

That’s such an amazing offer. It appears thrift books has another copy for 3.99 so I’ll take my chances again. I agree! What a treasure. Lisa sent me down this rabbit hole of reading L’Engle and I’m loving every minute (not surprising, every book that woman recommends is spot on)
