I’ve seen exciting progress in the more than 15 years that I’ve been learning about energy and climate change. What we need now is a plan that turns all this momentum into practical steps to achieve our big goals. That’s what How to Avoid a Climate Disaster is: a plan for eliminating greenhouse gas emissions. I hope you'll check out this quick video.

Thanks Bill! I enjoyed your on-line interview with Don Cheadle today. The L. A. World Affairs Council will be sending me a copy of you book soon. Really looking forward to reading it. All the best to you and your family.
Climate change is REAL. But how to tackle is the major question? How is it possible for consensus escaping integration of sovereign powers ? People participation is needed but their in fight is to attain once own “ individual value experience “ ! Bill sir , the innovation you wanted needs to be affordable, should not disturb the existing goals and shouldn’t lay burden on both developed &developing nations . Computers became high cost to affordable (but still there is prevalence of digital divide ) . I feel the innovation should be like as inclusion as television and as fast as telecommunications network. Thank you !
done reading your book. a lot of new things i learnt and found as a citizen we have lot of power to make a lot change. i become vegetarian one step towards climate
I try my best to minimize my carbon footprint - little by little. I really think by making it "fashionable", or the thing to do, more buy in would happen. Popularity is unfortunately a huge catalyst in our society; sports gurus, Hollywood A listers, musicians, if we can get them to "sell it", to really embrace being a climate protector and more, showing how they are doing their part and pushing for more change, more of the gen. pop. would buy in. Sad, but true! Additionally, for the middle class, who supports our society financially, there MUST be huge tax gains for those of us who pay huge taxes with little to no "rich" loop holes for deductions. Offering great breaks, incentives to switch to "greener" alternatives, could be powerful.
