"Laundry Lady" made me chuckle. I love that kind of horror. The sarcasm and honesty in this story are gold.

"AND ONE FOR AZAZEL (WITH JELLYBEANS)" reminded me of a fantastical take on Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery."

I think I remember reading this one when we were in graduate school together and it's wild because it hit me as hard now as it did then all these years later. I remain so impressed and taken with Lillie's work.

"Abby" was terrifying and I'm positively heartbroken over the story "Legacy." So beautiful, and it hits home in a lot of different ways for me. This one will stick.

As someone who is obsessed with Alice in Wonderland, the story "ALYCE-WITH-A-Y" was beyond enjoyable for me. On the horror front, "THAT’S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR" was absolutely chilling. I loved it!

"IN LOCO PARENTIS" totally grabbed me. What a dark, delicious little story. Keeping this one in mind for the future. It pairs nicely with M. Rickert's "Was She wicked? Was She Good" and Victor LaValle's novel The Changeling.

"Mother Sylvia" was dripping with fairytale horror and witchraft. Easily my favorite so far!
