Agree! I also prefer book covers with the H body and jaw on display, only, NO EYES, no full face!

Your point is very relatable Dilek! The book get's a bit dull when authors do that and we don't like the said celeb..
Anna wrote: "Agree! I also prefer book covers with the H body and jaw on display, only, NO EYES, no full face!"Yes yes, I agree, most covers are dreadful and I also prefer it the same... I like it with no faces if possible. No faces but bodies. Maybe hands etc. Photos that show their backs are Ok. Or no people at all but something related. A flower, a heart, a letter, any picture related...
Azet wrote: "ohhhh..she HAD TO DO THAT!I hate it too when authors do that!"Do you? Oh I am so glad that I am not the only one, Azet. I believe we should say it loudly so that writers don't do that! I want to put a face to it myself... I want to insert in my mind the image of a guy I find hot, not someone else's fantasy guy.
Alka wrote: "Your point is very relatable Dilek! The book get's a bit dull when authors do that and we don't like the said celeb.."Oh Alka, it really decreases my reading pleasure. It happened before with some other books and I rebel every time!
Now I am trying hard. Every time I want to insert the image of Tom Hardy or someone else, Jason Momoa pops up in my mind and I hate it. I respect everyone who finds him hot but I don't. Just the opposite.
I just want the writers to let us do it on our own. I want to put a face to it myself...

Oh, I can insert him anywhere... 😍😍😍
Whoops, I mean I would love to insert his image into my mind, I meant nothing else, I swear 🙈🙈🙈
Ha ha.. really, Henry Cavill is awesome.
Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth and Taylor Kitsch are my top 3 dream guys. Ian Sommerholder is also hot. Joseph Morgan is sexy as hell. These are may favorites...
OMG I'm the same! There's this other book I've recently read and the author dedicated the book to Jason Momoa because if she couldn't have him in real life she at least wanted him as her book boyfriend and since then I couldn't stop picturing the hero as Jason Momoa. I don't find him attractive at all!

And to that degree? Wow! I really find him very unattractive, sorry, but this is the way I feel and I hated when this thing happened here in a book I was looking forward to so much... I do love Ms Geissinger, but she ruined my reading experience by doing that :(((
I completely agree, Dilek. Let the reader imagine their own hot guy. One time an author described the hero as looking like Vin Diesel and I thought " who thinks Vin Diesel's hot?" Kind of ruins it if you can't replace that guy in your mind.
I hate it when authors do that too! Unless it's Henry Cavill, then I am all for it since I tend to always imagine the hero looking like him anyways. Or Jensen Ackles. I don't find Jason Momoa hot at all.

Of course, I wouldn't mind if it were Henry Cavill - and Jensen is not bad either but the best thing is not to give any names at all as there will always be readers who don't like the mentioned celebrity... It is an unnecessary risk that the writers are taking...
Jennifer wrote: "Agreed wish I hadn't seen the warning now. He does nothing for me either."Prepare yourself beforehand, Jennifer. Think of the hottest guy with a beard and then start the book thinking of him :)
Ali wrote: "I agree with u! I don’t how many books have been ruined by an author doing that!"Oh Ali, it sucks, right? :(((
It's a good thing I never have that problem. The description of the features helps me to form my own guy so when the character is compared to some actor I've already set my mind with my H/h :)
