This sentence from the book accurately captures my views: It feels like for every step forward, we’re forced two steps back.
The back and forth in Commitment only intensified in Redemption. It's exhausting and not enjoyable. My main reason for not tossing this in the DNF pile is because I want to know how the story ends, despite being highly frustrated and disappointed with the characters.

How did this second chance romance turn into a romantic suspense halfway through the 2nd book of a duet? It feels wrong. I'm definitely excited about two whole new story lines that seem to only serve the purpose of extending the fickle behaviors of both main characters.
