Susan’s Reviews > Beyond Words: What Animals Think and Feel > Status Update

I’m worried I will find out how intelligent animals are, and that it will break my heart to know this definitively, undeniably. But I am not the type to hide from harsh realities and remaining in the dark about something doesn’t grant absolution. I want to know. The writer hooked me instantly, using alliteration and imagery with complete mastery. It’s scientific but the writing is poetry. Two faves!
