I'm getting a bit bored with the prose I am on in this part of the book, I enjoyed the historical story of the Buddha. I also enjoyed reading the moral codes for Buddhist monks. Although I was surprised at the vow of celibacy and also the sexist law of not talking about Dharma to a woman in more than 5 words. I am now on the chapter doctrinal disputes. The book is hard to read, and old fashioned.

I have finished the first section on the incarnations of the Buddha, now I am reading about the religion and practices of Buddhism in its varying sects.
