The treaty is signed and now it's time to head to Ft. Landing and meet up with Ran. Meanwhile, after a talk with Zep, Pig has decided that he and the Devil Dogs will do what they can to support Sal and the Black Blades by getting assigned as unit under the iliri. So many good things will happen because of that.

Sal got to meet Molis for the first time and the Anglian 257th Heavy Archers have once again shown how awesome they are. Such a great unit of guys.

Inessi just made Sal so very happy. Hell, Inessi is happy. She never thought Jase could be Ahnor, but not only is he, he's the Kaisae's Ahnor.

Zep just got quite the shock. He's got himself a little girl.

Toth calls Sal a beast, but the one acting like a beast right now is him. I do know that he isn't the only CFC traitor, I can't remember if he was partially a scapegoat or if he had made that decision all on his own. I know more traitors will get revealed in the next book, I think.

We finally get to see Geo have a moment to shine. He'll have more, but it was good to see him as we don't see many of the Blades with him too often.

Ryali is back and with someone surprising with her.

Some of these humans are stupid. They're even trying to arrest the iliri and saying they're rioting when they are merely waiting to leave with Anglia. Of course now they're trying to rescue Sal.

Shade just made Artic happy as can be.

Jase got to have a lovely reunion with his amma and Zep went with him. I can't wait for Inessi to meet Sal.
