The author seems to make a factual error regarding Vivian Blaine being dubbed in State Fair. To the best of my remembrances and research, that's incorrect. When this happens in a film history book, an error that could be easily verified, it makes me wonder about the credibility of other information.

Still has interesting information, but the author is cynical which is growing wearisome.
