Man, I so get wanting to be alone (which is NOT the same as lonely) ... even if most often than not, the characters who are alone "come out" as lonely. Or maybe they just seem that way when they find someone who makes them not want to be alone anymore, mmh. IRL that never happens. (oops, bad thoughts done now, back to the story, which is actually interesting)
