I'm loving this story more and more. It's got it all. The shame. The humiliation. Overcoming modesty. Basking and reveling in new sensations previously misunderstood conditioned against. Very engaging. Very exciting. The "yellow room" bestows discipline as well education on those made to attend its lessons. The protagonist is developing from a prudish introverted "duckling" to a self-aware and expressive "swan".
