Why not opt for a sensual life instead of a life of grueling work? When you're at heaven's gate the guy who has spent all his time chasing women and has a sybaritic life gets in, and you get in, too. The only reason i can think of not to is, its another form of denial of death. You delude yourself that theres reason to lead a meaningful life, a productive life of work. Truth is you wind up in same place.
