I've literally just started this but the premise of the book (that someone as shallow, unfocussed and unintelligent as the protagonist can survive while being female in a cut-throat industry) is irritatingly unbelievable. I don't have much respect for investment bankers, but portraying one of them as a bimbo is just ridiculous

Ok so I had worked out this book was complete and utter bollocks by about page 2, not even self-conscious about how bad it is...but jut when I thought it could not possibly get worse we get transphobic humour. Considering DNFing it
