lol, sorry, Miriam and I were following up an older post- I traveled to China recently and they had snow cones with scorpions on it. I wasn't brave enough to try, but it looked pretty crazy. I love vanilla too, especially in neapolitan, ha ha Fitzgerald has this very soothing flow in his prose that makes for an interesting pairing =p

I think you should take your idea of matching books with food and write a blog or book. And write it as a satire on wine/food writing.
