Whoa, didn't expect this text to be as fascinating as it was. I'm reading certain passages of it now, not going to finish it tonight as I first thought, but I really like the viewpoint which the author takes on here. It's different than what many nutritional texts take on, as it focuses on the cultural and social constructions that play into why (American) diets are shaped the way they are.
