I wish I could say more good things about this book, but it seems to me that Stephanie Meyer write it when she was a tween. I wonder if this started out as FanFic? It has all the qualities of my middle school Good Charlotte FanFic--expensively outfitted rooms, mysterious rich guys, and uninteresting and unnecessary kidnappings.

The premise is interesting, and I like the way Stadtlander is keeping the gender of the killer from us. And I was pleased to see that he didn't take the obvious rout with who the killer is. I had trouble getting in to it, but I think once you get past the writing, it's pretty okay.
