So... Does it seem a tad... Anticlimactic that one of the first people to successfully climb Everest had to then climb a smaller, less deadly mountain (no offence to Jungfrau) to become a qualified guide? Like, this guy helped Hillary summit the tallest mountain in the world, why does he have to prove himself by climbing a mountain that's not even half the size??

I never knew (though I suppose why would I?) that Nazi Germany was so big on climbing mountains, or that they utilised the German/Austrian climbing clubs whilst rising to power...
