The first quarter of this book is the absolute worst piece of writing I have seen from Asimov so far. It was incredibly boring, convoluted and completely uninspired. It was a pain to read through it.
Luckily after the first quarter the story picks up some speed and gets a little closer to what you'd expect from Asimov.
