I was happy for Jeannie when she finally came out of her shell and proved herself to those bullies. That must have felt good.

I wonder about Jeanie's dad. If he supposedly had cancer, why wasn't he at the hospital? He seemed to be in a bad condition, and yet he was still at home.

This book just might be interesting. I was a little wary of it at first since I don't read short stories, but it seems ok so far.
