I'm only 7% in but getting the feeling that this will be bootleg Ready Player One.

Except this one, so far, is different in that there are little or no references to real life games and in this world the military fights wars essentially through putting the pilots in simulations and whatever they're controlling gets destroyed somewhere out in space.

Oh yes this is WWIII.

I might just not be that into sci-fi lol.
