Though the ending didnt turn out to be a bang as was obvious, it ended poignantly with the angel becoming human

Its getting to a ending which becomes tumultuous but becomes somber due to a mundane reason. but the prose as always is gripping

The prose is definitely excellent but the plot is twisted and hard to follow

The prose and language are superb. The chapter where frank robs from the mafia and later gets frightened and runs away and regrets was awesome. It was like seeing a movie.

The chapter on the criminal Frank and the angel disguised as a helpful woman lawyer was good, especially how the car blew a tyre and stopped

Wanted to drop the book but persisted and was rewarded. The chapter on the portugese lady maria was brilliant, the description of the plane taking off the pilot the priest ajd the American the characters were super

The chinese protaganoist was introduced. The tianmen square massacre, the silly thing about doing something beyond what is necessary and how some people need to continue to do silly things to benefit rest of humanity was good

A bit wierd but an easy read, the characters are quite engaging and you seem to be amongst them as they discuss and talk.
