I'm not sure why I'm having a hard time getting sucked into this. The characters are likable and the existence of secret agents of good juju out in the world doing good deeds to inspire good deeds is an idea I wish was a reality even if there was some amount of darkness balancing it. The underlying mystery is a slow...slow....burn. Writing is nicely done, maybe I just need more obvious intrigue..I'm needy and lazy

This is very much a second half of the game kind of book. The only reason I haven't finished yet is there's been a lot going on, and having other POVs introduced this late in the game after being exclusively Bella for the first half is tripping my brain up a bit. I get why the author did it, though..no room for confusing reader knowledge with character knowledge and all, but it was a bit jarring. Still enjoying.

I won a thing! This thing! Being on a that I am back in the habit of reading every possible waking moment my attention isn't required elsewhere and I'm on a tight budget I have taken to entering giveaways. A LOT of giveaways. Worst case I get intrigued about a book I have to later find at the library because, again, tight budget. But I won this one! And I'm enjoying it so far! It's a nice change of pace!
