Today I feel like, gaining allies in the concetration is really important. After reading if Lale didn't know this person, he would've died. This makes me realize that having people who I can trust around me makes me feel more comfortable. And also this has taught me to never take anything for granted and to always be grateful for what I have.

In todays reading Lale has finally got out of the camp and is starting to find his way back home before running into trouble. He has to work for the Russians but has more freedom. One day he takes a trip back to where he grew up and found out his sister is still alive and he got to she her in the first time in 3 years. The next thing I'm wondering is will Lale go back and find Gita or will he move on from her?

In the book of The tattooist of Aushwitz, we met a new person. And this person is like a guard, but acts in the sense of a doctor almost. This person is big and super scary to a point where Lale can't stop staring at him. Lale is a tattoer in the concentration camps and will go around tatooing numbers on the new prisoners.

In Aushwitz the tattooer gets more attention and more grace. This leaves other prisoners mad beacuse Lale used to be a prisoner like them. I think this is unfair because even though Lale gets more treatment because he's a tattooer, it doesn't mean the other prisoners should be treated bad.
